Hi, I’m Sarah. I am a professionally trained photographer specializing in portraits. I earned my bachelors and masters in fine art photography. I have photographed weddings, special events, family gatherings and portraits.

I moved to Florida with my husband after graduate school and created a body of work titled Fit with S&M, you can view the images here. I compiled a baking book of my adapted recipes that accommodated my husband and my food restrictions and dietary consciousness. I designed and published four editions before realizing I was lacking in graphic design skills. Graphic design seems so essential to all art degrees and yet I really had no grasp of the concept! That’s when I made the leap to enroll in the JCCC Graphic Design program and haven’t looked back and I have since created the fifth version of the book. You can find your copy on Amazon.

Graphic design more suits my work life balance needs and passion. What I love most about design is InDesign. I enjoy organizing information, but am confident to create brand identities, social media content, photographing headshots, illustrations, packaging and other essential tasks required for a business. During my time at JCCC, I have gotten a better sense of typography and combining 2D elements to create meaningful design. I love how design can be used for good and bad. I currently freelance for a local luxury homebuilder and local businessman.
